Day 12 Solento to Medellin

Woke up early and checked out of the hotel and walked with all our luggage to the bus terminal. Caught the tiniest bus with about 40 people in it to Pereira. Luckily it was only an hour ride. Got to Pereira then caught our next luxury bus to Medellin. Such a beautiful drive. It took 6 hours but it was really nice seeing all the country side and all the mountains. Got to Medellin at about 3pm and checked in, got ourselves organised then went for a walk around. It was obvious pretty quickly there was a soccer game on tonight and after speaking to a few locals we found out it was Columbia vs Chile with not much chance of Columbia winning. It was such a great atmosphere in town as they closed off the street to play the game on the side of the building. They ended up tying 1 to 1 which is good for some reason? Off to bed with lots of adventure planned for tomorrow.
