Day 7 Zipaquira Wedding Day

Wedding day today! No one is feeling too fresh. We spend the morning at the chemist and coffee shops making ourselves feel better then did a bit of shopping, got my hair done, grabbed a quick lunch of burgers then got ready. Sam and Anni are staying at the same hotel as us so we sat around watching them get photos taken etc then we ran off to the church before they arrived. Such a beautiful church and it was pretty funny as the whole ceremony was in Spanish and at times half the people were standing and the other half were kneeling so we didn't know what was going on but it was a nice atmosphere. After the ceremony we dropped in to our hotel then went to the reception at a nearby hotel. Delicious dinner and dessert which was all eaten by 6pm then most people left after that which was bizarre. Everyone else just went nuts with the dancing. Sam and Anni (tried to) teach us how to dance the salsa. Sam said watching Chris was like a baby giraffe trying to dance. Lots of fun though! Back to our hotel after where I went straight to sleep and Chris went out with everyone and got home at 2am.
